Many successful people have used Lucid Dreaming from the worlds of art, literature, science, technology and more!

Stephen King

Stephen King has stated that many of his ideas for novels came to him in dreams: “I’ve always used dreams the way you’d use mirrors to look at something you couldn’t see head-on, the way that you use a mirror to look at your hair in the back. To me that’s what dreams are supposed to do. I think that dreams are a way that people’s minds illustrate the nature of their problems. Or maybe even illustrate the answers to their problems in symbolic language.” In his novels Insomnia (1994) and Dreamcatcher (2001), dreaming runs as strong themes.

Salvador Dali

Salvador Dali created many dream-inspired works, one example is “Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate a Second Before Awakening”

Niels Bohr

Nobel Prize winner in Physics in 1922 for discovering the structure of the atom. He recalled that his hypothesis of electrons revolving around the nucleus came to him in a dream.

Dmitri Mendeleev

Dmitri created the periodic table, foundational to our understanding of chemistry. He claimed to have envisioned a complete arrangement of the elements in a dream, where all of the elements fell into place as required within a table. After awakening, he immediately wrote them down on a piece of paper.

There are so many more examples of people who had breakthroughs through their dreams and lucid dreams!

Who else has got insights from Lucid Dreaming & dreams?

Mary Shelley wrote her literary novel Frankenstein after experiencing a nightmare.

Elias Howe imagined a needle pushing through cloth in a dream and subsequently invented the sewing machine. Astoundingly.

James Watson saw the double helix image of the DNA chain in a dream, imagined as a spiral staircase, and he went on to be the co-discoverer of the structure of DNA.

The impact of his discovery on the world of science from his simple dream has been truly phenomenal.
